Hotel Tropik

Great location to spend night for both before and after our 3 day home of Andringitra National Park. We are a family of 7 adults. Rooms very clean and large. Plenty of hot water for our 3 rooms. We were the only people at the hotel for Christmas Eve, but 3 days later there were 4 more families of tourists. Ate dinner at hotel on Christmas Eve. We had to order our food over an hour before dinner, which gave us time to get on Wi-Fi (available in lobby only). Food was average but had a large variety to chose from. If in the area I would recommend this clean, good priced hotel.

Room was big and clean, good water pressure and hot water, good food, it was very cheap compared to the other options. There is no wi-fi. Would give it a 4 star rating if it had wi-fi.

TO AVOID ! Grand building without soul! Even the TV is "forbidden", we turn on the TV, we go out smoke 2 minutes, when the TV is off! No light on the stairs. There will be ONLY YOU as a customer, and despite that we put more than 50min to serve you: FROZEN BUTTER! YES it's true! Stone! The coffee has only Chemical taste, synthetic coffee coming straight from China !!! It's to tell you their level. Partons discuss in Chinese in front of you and the employees "badly considered". No smile and no soul. Avoid this hotel at all costs!
