The Mandolis Hotel and Restaurant

Don’t think twice and choose the Mandolis if you are visiting Dawei. The owner Nawar is an amazing host that takes a genuine care of his guests, staff and property. His white sand beach (40 mins ride from the hotel) is a hidden gem, very beautiful. Gorgeous and authentic. Dawei in general is a discovery, lovely clean town with beautiful houses and friendly people. I’ve looked around and confident it’s the best hotel in the area. No drop of rain in 3 days even through its monsoon - what a great surprise!

We spent 8 nights in the Mandolis which was great. Nawar, the owner, is a perfect host! You’ll feel at home and taking care of. The breakfast is delicious and offers a good choice. But not only for breakfast you can also have a good lunch or dinner in the restaurant. It’s almost a botanical garden with lots of variety, really beautiful. And the rooms are very comfortable, well decorated, spacious, comfortable bed, clean and a very hot shower every moment of the day 😃 The staff is professional very friendly and helpful. Our stay was perfect!

our stay at the Mandolis was quite particular ... my wife and I stayed in this structure for about a month in March 2020. to stay so long in a hotel that makes us understand a lot about the real reception capacity. I will not dwell on the hotel's major strengths: the attention to every detail, the availability of every comfort and the beautiful private beach that can be reached with the hotel motorbike. the real difference, however, lies in the human factor. Nawar, the owner, loves its structure in a romantic way. he is not a simple businessman, his interest is directed towards the well-being of his guests and above all of his collaborators. he loves his staff in a filial way and this characteristic falls enormously for the benefit of the guests. The guys who work with him feed on this affection and reciprocate with impeccable and genuinely kind service. this is the real strength of Mandolis: a human factor that can hardly be found in other structures. thanks Nawar and all the staff. 2nd time around here, lovely food and staff

Stopped in here at 5pm, with a bus booked for 11pm. Really excellent food, drinks and hospitality. If you are craving western food, come here. The staff kept us comfortable for hours and let us relax until we had to go. Beautiful clean grounds and garden. We will definitely stay here if we get to come back.
