My wife had a Saving and FD account here.
1. A small 20,000 kyat lost from saving account several months ago. We make a complaint n bank said we paid for a purchase thru cb pay. We had a record of all transaction n showed them. And they said sorry n credit back by the amount.
2. Today my wife informed the bank that she wanted to take out a substantial amount of money from FD (need to inform bank 1week prior withdrawing from FD). After so long time waiting, the staff told that money already withdrawn!. My wife shocked n provide evidence from bank book, receipt n online transaction records. To cut it short, staff said sorry !?.
As far as i know cb is very established and 2nd biggest bank in Myanmar but still pls keep transaction receipt, update your bank book regularly and always check irregularities online n notify them immediately if u find something not right.
