Good taste, the best service, can feel Karen traditional menu

Located right in the heart of the town, the bamboo-covered building with the pale sign is half-hidden in the steep slope and is barely noticeable. The two dinning halls sport gigantic wooden tables made from horizontally-sliced gigantic trees and the rectangle seats are made of big chunks of solid woods and then glossed. The restaurant mainly serves cooked curries. The usual dishes include chicken, pork, beef or mutton. Occasionally, you can have fishes from the local creeks, meats of wildlife, as well as Karen traditional dishes like Talabaw (thick soup cooked with mixed vegetables, fish paste, rice flour, and local spices). It is unlikely you can order stir-fry dishes except omelet. The cost is standard to an ordinary restaurant in any Burmese cities. You can get better food in this town, especially if you were a group diner.

Great place, good food, the owner speaks very good English. Love the large wooden tables. The owner can help in arranging 1 day hikes as well around the area
