Golden Heart Animal Rescue

I was looking for a dog shelter 3 year ago and could find only one, Yangon Animal shelter who helped me to adopt 2 dogs. Terryl was very responsible and helpful. Not aware of this "fishy" place with 700 dogs. I have only one star but when I post it shows 5 star. What a scam, Google!!!!

For almost six years now the founder Hnin Si Myint has been running this animal shelter. Currently 700 dogs, 120 cats, 6 cows and 10 pigs have found a temporary home here, with 16 humans taking care of them. Golden Heart Animal Rescue is quite an amazing achievement. Don't be afraid when you arrive at the gate! Workers will escort you in and calm down the dogs. You will hopefully then be given the same warm welcome as we did, with Hnin Si Myint and a big bunch of her healthier dogs showing us around. These cured dogs have the opportunity to run around freely inside the compound, making the whole tour a bit chaotic, but also full of meetings with lovable dogs dying to get some attention from a friendly human! This sometimes badly wounded and mistreated animals do need care, as you will see, so please donate some kyats or help out in any other way if you can. Then maybe they can hire a few more staff, and rearrange the compound a bit which would be great I think! Also, if you who's reading this is thinking about giving them a new animal to take care of, you need to contact and send a photo/video first! Otherwise they will likely say no.
