After trying another place, this was a find. Note: you need to adjust your expectations from other tourist towns - things are still more basic in Mrauk-U. Open later than other restaurants. Family owned and run. Friendly and good service. Tasty local dishes and cold Myanmar bottles on demand. If you're looking for local flavor, this is a solid choice

Nice selection of dishes and an English menu (obviously very limited translation but still mega helpful) which is nice. Chinese food and local food as well. Good for a quick cheap fix. Nothing fancy.

Food just above average but gains points for being the only place I have found in town with draught beer.. the place to drink in town. Clean and friendly.
