This schcool building, like so many other buildings in Yangon, now lies vacant. Nearby is the magnificent Baptist Church compound with beautiful wooden structures worthy of a visit at any time.

Pegu Karen High School ( started building in1921 and finished building in1922). Nationalized by Gen. Ne Win's military government 1962, and now known as No. 1 state high school, Ahlone.
