Nice 5* style resort. Comprehensive breakfast, restaurant with good service.
Resort has own hot spring pools.
Hotel advertises no internet in rooms, but it worked fine in our room.
I would be happy taking my 90 year old Australian mother to this place. Everything works.
You can arrive by road or boat
I was stay here last 2 years, but haven’t had chance to review. This is very nice place to stay with all warm welcome staff and helpful, lake view with th sunset and all different view walking around resort is amazing. Restaurant with the good chefs care all about how the food we ate, remind time with what you about to Oder, nice bar with happy hours great cocktail. I really enjoy stay in here, like you was inside of nowhere out side there, quiet for relax but not bored. Highly recommend.
Great stay with lovely staff and manager . Very friendly with kids. Breakfast is fine and room are spacious . Highly recommended
All good but a bit soulless. Cavernous dining hall and bar tucked in by the entrance to the dining hall. So no view, no sundowners. The WiFi performance of vouchers and time expiry codes is absurd for a hotel like this. I am afraid in these days to use the "tranquility " excuse not to provide WiFi in the rooms just doesn't cut it. Forcing people into public areas to connect is an inconvenience .
The rooms can't be faulted, the grounds are beautiful on the other side of the road, the staff are very well trained and friendly. Organising something is easy at reception. Would I recommend this hotel? The answer is yes, the issues cited in the beginning are not major issues.
Chose to stay in one of the floating cottages and it was almost perfect! Attentive staff, lush landscape, good breakfast and overall serene experience. Plus, we took the incredible boat ride from the hotel to Inle Lake. Yes, touristy stuff but it was mixed with some sightseeing of life by the mighty beautiful lake.
Apart from that, what could be improved is the maintenance of the waterfall/jacuzzi which is in the extension part of the hotel. I booked the room primarily excited by that. But when I went there, it was less than perfect. Murky waters and still ponds. Not very inviting. So definitely room to improve there. Otherwise, good place to stay.
