We had a "hut" overlooking the lotus flower pond, just behind the lake and it was lovely. Huge bed, sitting room, area to chill overlooking the lotus flowers - all very well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only downside is it's a bit of a trek to get to the restaurants and bars outside the hotel but after a day being deafened by a long tail boat motor a nice walk in the warm Burmese evening is a small price to pay to be well watered and fed.

Well..simply a paradise. I arrived here tired from hours and hours on busses around Myanmar and this place was a relief. The road to the reception and the room were long but gave me the chance to appreciate the nature surrounding the resort. It's beautiful everywhere, the reception, the restaurant, the rooms are clean and ordered, the swimming pool is crazy, beautiful and immerse in the green, and from there you can have access to the gym and the spa. But the most amazing thing are the piers on the lake from were, sitting on a deck chair, you can relax and enjoy an incredible and amazing sunset. I ate every night at the restaurant inside because it was simply a pleasure, huge comfortable, cozy and welcoming place with great staff and good food. Breakfast was the best moment, a wide variety of super good food enjoyed while kisses by the sun! The best place where I have been in Burma for an amazing price, the better spent money of my trip. I was going to cry while I was leaving after 4 amazing and relaxing day that regenerated me! If you are looking for peace and quiet don't hesitate to book this place! Hope to see you soon!!

Overpriced The surroundings are extraordinary, the accommodations are surrounded by trees and water areas, making it a very quiet place and a paradise for birds. That said, this environment is very expensive. And, apart from the fabulous surroundings, what else is there? The resort is logically far from everything (about 1 km to go to a restaurant) but there are no means of transportation available (bikes must be rented), a huge restaurant that does not make you want to sit, a random wifi, a breakfast not bad and included but for the price, we can expect better. The only drink I had, a bottle of local wine, costs 24€, which is almost 3 times the price in the restaurants of the town nearby. The type of room I had in similar hotel in Myanmar is half the price. I feel my room ("economy"55€ per night? a bit overpriced.

A great 4-star hotel in a big compound with many trees. Actually like a forest. Attractive antique building in tranquility place. Suggested to have a buggy car in the compound. It's a long way to reception for check-in.

When you arrive by boat your first impression is a WOW - what followed was a series of many more WOWs. This is indeed a beautiful resort. The owner personally greeted us and showed us our bungalows. The bungalows are wonderful, very spacious and nicely decorated. Our friends where just next to us with a connecting deck. Again one of those WOW moments. He calls the resort his 'baby' and I believe he can and should be proud of what he built. It's a little paradise. We joined the New Year dinner and were not disappointed. From pre drinks over a wide selection of yummy dishes to the grand finale of the firework and a toast with champagne - all perfectly organized. We're truly enjoying our stay and the resort is a wonderful finish to our Myanmar adventure.
