I am stuck in Myanmar and waiting for a flight to get me out. The embassy sends out flight information , but the flight information is not helpful because they get cancelled last minute and the price is so high. The newest information on flights to get out of Myanmar included flying through Tokyo then into Vancouver BUT they fail to tell you that when you get to Japan you arrive just before the airport closed meaning you have to go into Japan which means you have to do a 14 day quarantine. If the Embassy is going to send helpful information they should really check that these flights they are recommended for Canadians are going to actually work for Canadians trying to get home. Very disappointing and finding there is little help for stranded Canadians.
