Great. Many books are there. It can study many things.

Was exploring Yangon University and popped into this library for a look. I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of English books here, since I found a scarcity of English literature when I visited libraries in Vietnam. I also liked that this library is open to everyone and not just university students, unlike the university libraries I visited in Taiwan. This place had a peaceful vibe to it and I spent a couple of hours reading a random book here until the lights went out.

The University of Yangon was established in 1920. At that time the library building had not yet been built. The University of Yangon Library was to be the first modern library building in Myanmar. The normal library timetable is 9:00 AM to 6:00PM for Monday -Friday but 10:00Am to 1:00PM for Saturday,this changed time is started since July 2018 ,time will be changing based on survey results. All universities students and external allow to be members,full access of services. To be a member,have anyone ID ,there are more than 1000 members are in here.
