Very nice morning mass at 5:45 Monday-Saturday, mostly young girls in formation to be sisters. Priests are kind and will hear confessions. Mass in different languages in different days, including English, Karen, “Myanmar”(Burmese) and Tamil. And when I was there the priest was giving instruction to new and returning Catholics, about ten men, after morning masses. It’s worth getting up early for!!!

We come here for follow up the love story about Jao Noi Sukkasem Na Chiang Mai and his love whom Burmese girl. Jao Noi Sukkasem, prince of Chiang Mai come to Mawlamyine for study at St. Patrick Scool.

St Patrick Church is very popular in Mawlamyine with the Tamil Population. Very spacious and there is a graveyard at the rear. The front yard is developed as a garden.
