This temple was built in the 11th century by King Kyansittha, when he became king in 1084. The site was chosen by his wife, where she said she witnessed him being protected by the snake Naga. A common style temple but three lovely golden Buddah inside.
Good place for taking pictures.
This late 11th century temple in one of the oldest in Bagan and is a fine example of traditional craftsmanship. It is a large temple occupying over 10,000 square foot. It contains a large number of intricate images on the life and teachings of Buddha.
Nice and very old temple..
Mind it that you can't get in with shoes and short pants..
Very relaxing atmosphere.
