A small and not very well maintained train station with virtually no facilities, located next to Bogyoke Aung San Market, only one stop from Yangon Central Railway Station. Tourists who decide to start their Yangon Circular Train trip at this station should know that it's not easy to get any information here and if they take the wrong direction they will have to get off at the next station. BTW, the circular train trip is not as great experience as many say it is. Yes, it's extremely cheap but you won't see almost anything from the train except of lots of people getting on and off the train. And of course hawkers that turn this train into a slowly moving market. If this is what you want to see then it's fine. Just remember, this is a real mean of transport, not only a tourist attraction. So if you isn't really interested in seeing this part of Yangon's life there's no need to unnecessarily take up space in an already overcrowded train.

Closely located near General Aung San Market. The station is very poor in lighting and need to be upgraded.

Overall condition is very poor, we had to cross the tracks to get here but very near Bogyoke market. A lot of garbage around and it stinks (but I guess I can say the same for Yangon downtown) but it was still an interesting experience.
Similar place
