What an amazing first experience on a hot air balloon with spectacular views of Bagan! This company is very professional, all staff members very courteous, attentive & friendly. I am so impressed with the high level of service. An STT representative came to our hotel to make the booking. We also get tickets to see the culture show at the Golden Palace (highly recommend) & also for the Bagan Viewing Tower (spectacular views from this tower). On the morning we were picked up in a nice aircon van & brought to the area where we board the balloon. They serve you a light breakfast with tea/coffee. If you need to go to the bathroom I suggest you give plenty of time before take off as there is no toilet facilities at the take off area. We went on a 12 person basket balloon with 3 people per section (total of 4). Take off & landing was really smooth. I have to admit I was pretty nervous at first but the overall experience was amazing & once your at the top the views are really breathtaking. Landing was great & also smooth (we didn’t have to sit down). You also get a certificate, gift bag & bubbly to celebrate your experience. You also get the same van they came to pick you up in. Another company had a bus & it looked a little old. The balloons also look a lot nicer than the other companies! Overall, if you are thinking of trying out a hot air balloon in Bagan, I would definitely recommend STT.
