The gers/yurts are so comfy. Just bring a pillow-Mongolians seem to prefer very little headrest and firm bedding! Also the outhouse was getting a big upgrade while I was there. Showers are available. A really nice, relaxing place. There's a sweet little husky that will make the strangest howls you ever heard when you pet her.

Ms guesthouse has everything you need, especially very nice showers and toilets :) They are very welcoming and have lots of advice. They will want your stay on the Khvosgol to be perfect.

We stayed at MS Guesthouse in early June... truthfully, we just ate some breakfast right after arriving, took a nap there and then had to leave again unexpectedly, and they were so kind to only charge us for the food. Would stay here if we ever find ourselves in Hatgal again, very cozy space and friendly staff even though we arrived super early and unannounced from our bus from Ulaanbaatar.

This is a lovely family owened guesthose in Khatgal, near the lake Khovsgol. Their service is excellent and the most important is they serve lunch and dinner because there aren't any good place to eat in town.
