Lake Talmen Lake Telman is a freshwater lake in Zavkhan aimag. There are three islands in the lake and are a gathering point for migratory birds. The mineralization rate is 6.49-7.61. The main feeds of the lake are rainfall and soil runoff, but the surface runoff is insignificant. The lake is watered from an area of ​​3940 km2, but from the Khangai Range mountains several lakes flow into the lakes, only small, constantly flowing streams called the Tubein river. The highest of the water-bearing mountains is located on the Bulnain Range, which is the boundary between the inland streams of Central Asia and the Northern Arctic basin, reaching a height of 2433 m. In addition to the low forest and grassland vegetation, the Gobi desert and the Gobi vegetation affect the depressing climate of the Great Lakes in the southwest.
