A number of the cacti have died and not been replaced. I was expecting a more dramatic garden after visiting similar cacti gardens in the dessert SW.

This part of the gardens is dedicated to cacti. It is a place where the arid climate of the Mexican Republic is exemplified. Before entering the place there is a store where you can buy water, beers, soft drinks, etc. In this specific place there is almost no shade.

This place is located within Jardines de Mexico, here you can find a very important variety of cacti, classified in protected species, and in danger of extinction, you will find pieces from 8 meters. even tiny cactuses with unparalleled beauty, their flowers are magnificent and beautiful. The challenge in this place is to adapt the climate so that these species survive, and a few meters away you will find the tropical garden that needs a lot of humidity, the opposite of the cacti, I invite you to visit one of the largest cactaceae gardens in the world and You can appreciate the richness of Mexico.
