Hotel Villa del Mar

I stayed in hotel Villa Del Mar from August 9-16th, 2019 on the 3rd floor. This hotel is excellent, clean, economical and has good staff. Cleaning staff was able to help me with any request and always kept my room so clean and perfectly stocked. Excellent price and close to bus and metro stops. I highly recommend this hotel and will return when visiting again!

Great location for the price. Facilities are great and clean. Only downside is the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep it i wasn't exhasted.

I would give the hotel 0 stars if the option was available to me. First, the hotel is in a uninviting area. Granted, the free parking was the only thing good about the hotel. We came to the room, and first the smell of the room was unbearable. The bed was like a rock, NO comfort. The bathroom was smelly and unclean. They left us ONE semi-clean towel for 2 guests. Also there was zero service. The walls are very thin. You can hear every noise throughout the entire hotel. The WiFi was free but barely functioning. There is NO TRANSPORTATION TO THE AIRPORT. Do NOT book this hotel! Saving money isn’t worth it! We literally left after 20 minutes of sitting and debating whether or not to leave. They also didn’t refund us. Don’t do it.

Gorgous room, beautiful bed cover and elegant room. Building inside is very elegant.

It is a hotel next door to drug, human trafficking, prostitution, robbery etc. I've stayed there 5 nights . They were renting rooms for hourly. It is not for family. If you will stay in cdmx , just go to downtown for hotels or hostels which is more safe than this place
