This is the best little cove for setting out on a kayak trip or to do some snorkeling. There is not much in the way of sand down at the water line but there is some up higher. Be aware that offshore winds come up pretty quick here. If you can get out to the island in a kayak there is a tunnel through the center of it that you can kayak through at certain tides.
