The Hostal staff received us even late after a booking call, with soaps, towels and the choice between 2 different included light breakfasts (fruits or omelet + bread and cafe or tea or juice). The very nice woman from the staff even prepared mine after the regular time! And very confortable dormitory with fan + A/C, nice common spaces and inside garden. I highly recommend!

Basic hostel very near the centre of town with lovely staff. Stayed in a 4 bed dorm for 150pesos - room was clean but no window, air con was broken but a mounted wall fan gave a little air movement. Lockers with keys provided and the place felt safe. Breakfast is included but if you book over the phone or in person you can get a dorm for 120 pesos without. Breakfast was 2 pieces of toast with a little butter and jam, an omelette and hot water for either Nescafé or herbal tea. WiFi worked fine. Not a very cosy or social hostel but does the trick and is cheap compared to others in the area, would stay again.

Really nice hostel, top location, lovely staff

Great place to stay. Location is close to the central cathedral as well as ADO station and various colectivo stops to places like Ek Balam or Chichen Itza. The staff/owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. However some Spanish maybe required. Prices are very friendly, at 150 pesos (2018 july) per bed for a 4 bed shared room. The establishment is fairly clean and quite. Overall, it is a great place to stay for travellers not looking for partying and booze.

It is a good place, central and quiet, but some rooms do not have air conditioning, so if you cannot stand the heat, you will not have such a great time, you share a bathroom and they are quite clean ... Also if you plan to stay several days, there is an area for cooking and they allow you to store things in the refrigerator ... That is, if the rooms are not closed, they only give you a key to a small drawer in your room so that you can keep your valuables, which is common in hostels as it is Surely you share a room for that reason its low price.
