BBVA San Miguel De Allende Juarez

Their ATM installed at the supermarket La Comer in San Miguel swallowed my foreign ATM card. Everything went well (code etc...), until the "Processing" showed up. It stayed on screen for 5 minutes. Then apparently the ATM crashed and was not usable. On the phone they pretended not to hear me. I went to the central location BBVA where they claimed that the card had been destroyed by the ATM machine. WTF! I used the card 4 times before with other banks (mostly Banamex) to withdraw money with no problem. They offered absolutely no solution. Luckily I have another card but it is going to be a lot of hassle to fix this and transfer funds between accounts.

This is the bank to use if you have a Bank of America debit card since the fees will be lower. Don’t come on payday as the lines are long.

This is the BEST bank in SMA for those from Canada (as I am) to do business. They have a special office where one goes, where a gentleman named DAVID resides. He speaks ENGLISH & is most accommodating.

It shows closed in the maps, but it's actually open during night hours as well.

Everytime I come here there's a long line for the ATM machine. Get more machines please.
