Carnes Asadas "Mr. Samy"

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! If you are passing through don’t consider stopping, just do. I’ve never eaten so much meat in my life and only wish I could have eaten more. Absolutely delicious!

One of the BEST meals I had in Mexico!! I cannot day enough good things about this food and the wonderful people running this place. We stopped here once in our way to Bacalar, and stopped again on the way home! So, so delicious!!

This roadside stop was the best thing we could have done, on the way from Merida to Bacalar! Delicious and perfectly seasoned. The meat was so good that we ordered three more portions. They were also very accommodating since we had a rather large group. I can’t wait to go back (on the return drive.)

The BEST place to stop between Mérida and Bacalar! This meat was OUTSTANDING. Seasoned perfectly with fantastic salsas. We ordered 1.5 kilos of ribs for our group of nine. Then ordered another half kilo, then another. Thank you for welcoming us with kindness and an incredible meal!

We stopped at Samy’s on the way to Bacalar...best decision ever! I come from a family of Southern, self-proclaimed, grill masters and this is hands down some of the best grilling I’ve ever had. Definitely a must try! Also, they were incredibly kind and accommodating.
