Great staff! Out of all the hospitals in mexicali this has to be one of the best if not the best. Parking has limited space i would say that's the one down side.

Great hospital with caring and attentive staff. Absolutely no waiting for call lights to be answered as happens in the US, and the nurses and doctors went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times. I am So much more impressed with Hospital Almater than I have ever been with any hospital in the US.

Plan Bebé Almater was the best investment ever. Were provided 5 STAR treatment, better attention than many US medical facilities, and also paying out of pocket was cheaper than US copays.

They are thieves just out to take your money instead of help you. I paid 30,000 pesos for an IV and a room for the night and wanted 13000 more for a CT scan. My brothers Dr said, the next day, never go there again, he’s heard many stories of overcharging for nothing.

I had Bariatric surgery (VSG) at Hospital Almater with Dr. Wilhelmy. The care I received at Hospital Almater was fantastic. Equipment is up to date. My operation was successful and I had no complications. I was kept very comfortable and taken very good care of. My daytime nurse, Julio, was fantastic. He worked hard to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I need. All of the other nurses and staff were helpful and kind. Everything was very clean. I loved that there was a ceiling fan in my room lol. The hospital has everything you’d expect - ICU, blood bank, lab, radiology, everything you could need in case or emergency. I’m very happy with my hospital selection. I’m also very happy with my experience with Mexicali Bariatric Center. That review will be written on their google page.
