Picaflor Bacalar

Picaflor is a special place. Their food is delicious and at a fair price. The smoothies and lattes of the best in Bacalar in my opinion:) Also the garden in the back of the restaurant brings a pleasant vibe and relaxing atmosphere! An awesome morning hangout for expats and Bacalar locals to network and enjoy a amazing breakfast.

The atmosphere and staff are amazing. Easily found with a 10'X10' hummingbird painted on the wall seen from the road. The food was amazing. If you want a fresh and delicious meal at a great price this is the place for you. The shrimp omelette was easily one of the best we've had. The crepes were great. It should be noted that when you are eating great food the fresh herbs make a difference. From the cilantro, basil, and even mint on the crepes. If you come to Bacalar you must eat breakfast here. Not to mention the made to order coffee. So fresh and delicious.

Great service and Fantastic food/drinks! English speaking staff and large outdoor seating arrangements. The house hot sauce/chili paste has a good kick!

Wonderful breakfast! The best omelette I’ve had and some bacon to remind me of home. Homemade kombucha was light and refreshing. Definitely a must eat spot for anyone traveling to Bacalar.

Great atmosphere and nice service. The food had fresh and thoughtful taste. Check out the back garden!
