Pizzeria Bertilla

The gnocchi was absolutely amazing, but it was not a very large portion. The pizza was delicious as well and a better value. Originally I didn't believe the other reviews, but being charged more for a small carafe of water than we were charged for a couple of tacos at other restaurants was a bit silly!

We were really disappointed by the pizzas. The dought was not good, and the taste was not good. Very expensive for what it is. It is not good italian pizza. Dont know why the ratings are so high. Maybe the rest of the menu is better.

Went here with my boyfriend and we got the carbonara and amatriciana. Both were delicious. I have tried for years in north america to find a proper carbonara like they make in italy and finally found one! The pasta was perfect and al dente.

If you are in Bacalar you need to visit this restaurant. Is an Italian restaurant with a very good menu, I like a lot the Pizza, it is an original Italian pizza with thin bread, mm delicious. Sometimes it is full and you need to make a line and wait your turn to enter. Everything with the food is fine, just think they can improve in how to treat the customers. They have to understand that the customer is the most important thing for them, so they have to treat them very good. One time I just wanted a glass of water, no soda, no wine, just water and they told me they cannot give me water, because, obviously they wanted to sell me something more expensive, not just water. So, they just have to understand that they need to give the customer whatever they ask, this way they will return and they will recommend to other people, and that will make the business to grow.

Italian pizza in Bacalar. If you love the Italian food. Come to eat and enjoy it.
