Mercado Municipal de Bacalar

High prices for the area but good quality. Sad to say but if you are a tourist you pay more than the licals.

It's the mercado. What can one say? Unique nonetheless.

The heart of the city in my opinion. Where life happens. Stalls selling every and any thing from veggies to clothes to live ducks. Plus you can eat tacos and get a haircut.

This is smaller market, it's about the right size for community. You can find what you need.

A little small tiny traditional market, even for a little town like Bacalar, anyway don't forget to visit on Sunday morning and try the delicious cochinita pibil they sells there.
