Bodega Aurrera

I visited the Progreso Yucatan Bodega Aurrera on Saturday, June 20, 2020. The ONLY thing this store has going for it is the large selection of merchandise that is difficult to find elsewhere in Progreso under one roof. The store was very busy, and they only had three checkout lanes open. I did my shopping in less than 10 minutes, but waited in line for almost 30 minutes after that. The store needs to run more checkout lanes during peak times in order to provide decent customer service. They suck!!

For a supermarket with such size, range of products is sadly limited. For example if you want to buy a camping gas stove or tabletop butane grill, they advise you to travel to Merida and go to Walmart... I have been there three times wishing to buy something as simple but failed because of their lack of range.
