Soriana Súper Progreso

First grocery shopping trip in Progreso, going to try the other places to go, hoping I don't have to come back. Nothing special, not terrible, selection tolerable and prices ok. Workers were rude and constantly in the way seemingly on purpose, however the bagger was exceptional and bagged properly not breaking or squishing my softer products, so gave him a nice tip.

A reasonabke small supermarket but very deficient in good beers (Patito is a local brewery for goodness' sake!) and Asian foods and ingredients.

Basic, good, and sometimes a surprise or two. This week's surprise: there wasn't one! Jaja

Staff are kind and helpful, health testing is great.

I love this place! It maybe smaller than the grocery store across the street who carries Walmart brand junk and its prices just a bit higher but it's very clean and UNCLUTTERED and seems to try to carry items that are appealing to ex-pats. Foods seem to be of higher quality.
