Bacalar Boat Tours

The tour operators were friendly, we were able to jump on a tour just as it was leaving. Our guide only spoke spanish but he did his best to help us understand what he was saying. We seemed to follow the same path as the other tours, but ours was 300 pesos a person. And we started/ ended next to the municipal dock, which is nice.

No parking and expensive trip on boats

Wonderful tour of the lake. The guide made an effort to explain everything to us despite being the only two English speakers on the boat. Warm and welcoming service.

As soon as you arrive along the coast there are plenty people offering a tour! There is no better way to experience the beauty of bacalar lake than from a boat. The tour was 250 pesos and took about 2.5 hours. we took our own speaker, food and alcohol in a cooler (which I highly reccomend) as it is a very interactive tour in which you will swim a lot.

We paid 250 peso but on last stop our captain told us we can swim for 50 minutes . After 10 mins we were looking for our boat to take some water. boat was not on the spot. Our boat came after 1:30 h with new group of people. our personal staff was still on the boat. He should tell us that he is leaving super unprofessional
