Well, since I run the place I'll say it's pretty good. Certain times of the day and year the gates are closed. YOU need to ring one of the door bells to gain entry. Neighbor people are helpful in getting the gates open. Arriving before dark is important. An email giving me a heads up is good for all involved. Email and phone number is easy to find on the internet.

Nasty pool. Nasty bathrooms. Staff was not very friendly. Charged us the same rate as an RV, even though we don't have any RV connections. We decided to leave after one night.

Awful. The site is buggy, the electrical hook ups are spooky, bathrooms dark, no toilet paper, non- functioning waterslide, kids pool is full of mosquito larvae. The American manager is a misopedist, lazy and very unprofessional. Do not subject yourself to this place, it's bad for your health and soul.

Cuidado! Worst experience in Mexico. I've visited 29 states in Mexico, camping in our bus. This was by far the most horrible experience we've had yet. The management is completely unhelpful, was very rude to me, my wife, children and other campers. He even refused to help an elderly woman with her laundry. Cold showers, non-functional pool facilities which are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Frequent water shortages due to lack of attention from management. Very expensive. The manager is really the worst part, he has no compassion or humanity. The type of "ugly American" that everyone wants to avoid. Please don't waste your time or money, he's a misogynist and doesn't appear to have much respect for the locals or the culture either. Make the 21st century better than the 20th by boycotting businesses run by hateful nasty people like this. Catemaco Is a wonderful place, but stay away from this place.

It is very clean and cute. A river runs behind. An oasis in Mexico since there are hardly any of these places. Hopefully there are more.
