The TV has access to Internet so we watched Netflix all night. Thank you Maple very cool.

We stayed in a two bedroom room with private bathroom on a Saturday night. This hostel is reasonable value for the price but did have some big problems, for us at least. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: The room we stayed in was newly renovated with comfortable beds and pillows. It was clean and the bathroom was very nice with excellent water pressure. Breakfast is included in the price, we had the eggs with ham and beans, which included warm tortillas and dry toast with coffee (Nescafé) or tea. We were happy to have eggs, as good protein at a hostel breakfast is hard to find. Towels and soap were included with the room. Cons: the upstairs suites still appear to be under construction and there are no safety railings, this would be fine, but it means that there is a bright light that shines all night into your room (I woke up at 2 am and thought the sun had come up already!). We didn't know if we could turn off this light as we assumed it was turned on for safety and that there might be other people staying upstairs too. I recommend putting darker curtains in the rooms as the existing ones do nothing for the light and make sleeping very difficult. We also stayed at a time where there was road construction outside starting at 4 am. As a result we barely slept. This is not the fault of the hostel, but I would bring earplugs just in case. I recommend that the hostel offer real coffee instead of Nescafé. If the expense of real coffee is a problem, I'm sure people would be very happy with cafe de olla. Also jam for the toast would be appreciated. Additionally they will charge you for holding your bag, $50mx after 2:00pm. This is a service most places offer for free. These are very small changes that make a huge difference and help you to be competitive with other hostels in the area. Thank you so much and best wishes.
