Awa Hotel Boutique & Spa

Honestly I love staying here, the rooms are great and the hotel is amazing. The service, though, is something I haven’t seen before at a hotel..... at best it’s OKAY on the weekend with the weekend (more experienced) staff. But during the week, we dealt with really awful service, food, and we were really overcharged for what we were given. I give it four stars because I do actually really enjoy the hotel, especially the location right on the beach. I will keep coming here, but will be reaching out to the owner to let him know. Desk staff is friendly, it’s the food staff (and quality varies, but last we were there it was incredibly poor) and often the wait staff and others that have surprised me with how not service oriented they are, seeing as this is a hotel. I do recommend staying here, it’s very clean and modern. But don’t get your hopes up about the service, and I’d eat somewhere else.

Nice hotel nice location the service was great. Stayed 3 nights the breakfast was really good fresh juices recommend the melon juice. My only critique is they need a little more cleanliness on the room service......and the wifi only works downstairs lobby. I definitely recommend this play staff is nice and helpful

It was really good, the night that I stayed there weren't many other guests so I had the whole place almost to myself. Staff is friendly and polite. Minor issue with the restaurant serving us slightly uncooked shrimp but when we made them aware they apologized and fixed the issue right away.

Super slow service. I was accused of stealing towels and the food was not great. Layout of the resort is not efficient and there were not enough workers. Also the pool was dirty. There was a wasp problem and we had to kill a cockroach near my son's bed.
