Amazing hotel, with a pretty unique style. Wonderful environment. Takes you to old good days!! Or years... with all the things and treasures in there!!!

Funky and cheap, it's the only hotel I've ever found with a dead monkey driving a Model-T.

On check the friend I was traveling with noticed a coach roach in the room. They provided us with another room but it was not great. I had prepaid but stayed at another hotel down the street for slightly more money (much much better hotel). I am not sure why this place is listed as a 4 star hotel when it's more like a hostel with private rooms. Kinda cute but I value a good night's sleep more than the $45 I lost here by prepaying so I just left.

A delightful place. Very artsy/funky. Beds are comfortable and rooms are all different. The family who runs the day to day side of it are very friendly and will happily go out of their way to help you with anything.

So, place was kinda neat. Also I understand it's very cheap and centrally located. Also, this review might be a little more biased as I was staying with my girlfriend and we felt it dirty... Anyway, the younger girl was nice at the counter, and an older lady the next morning was not so friendly when I tried to practice my broken Spanish with her. Rooms are unique, but sheets did not fit, matress was dirty, ac did not work, and there was a musty smell, especially after a short shower. I might stay here for a cheap night alone, but it was just too "rustic."
