We had a reservation through Travelocity. I prepaid the insurance because I know what a scam insurance is in Mexico. Well, nobody was at the budget office when we got there. I called main office and they didn't know where they were and hung up on me. I called back a few more times and they told me they were sending someone but wouldn't tell me when. 30 minutes later someone shows up Turns out the insurance I purchase through Travelocity didn't mean anything, I was still required to buy their insurance which was, as typical, more than the actual car rental price. I cancelled my reservation and just took cabs and I we the rest of my trip.

HAD TO WAIT 45MIN FOR CAR DELIVERY , WAS OVER CHARGE BY 3 TIMES,STILL FIGHTING BUDGET FOR REIMBURSEMENT

Staff is friendly. However, the car I was given was in horrible state. Unfortunately, it was the only type of car available that accommodated my group, so I had to take it. Interior was filthy, tires were in questionable state. The manager tried to set me up with a different car, but like I said, there was nothing else that was big enough.

They carry out fraudulent practices with the obligation to contract additional insurance and in case of not contracting them they keep the deposit without any justification. At the Chekout they stole personal effects and a cell phone while they entertained me in the office. In addition, the car was in a very bad state of conservation, very dirty and poorly maintained. This office carries out fraudulent practices with deposits and insurance in a generalized manner, they are reported to the courts. You are advised to stay away from this agency in La Paz.

Terrible service, we had booked for two months and they canceled two hours before our arrival.
