Very average food

The food was ok but overpriced and the surrounding beach has a fair bit of litter. A 10% tip was included in the price they tried to charge us without any mention from the waiter and without it being written on the bill that a tip was included. When giving us the bill the waiter told us we could give something extra if we like, making us think that our bill didn't already include a tip. Quite dishonest behavior. All in all I wouldn't recommend the place

Excellent place to spend the day or a week! Super recommend.

Upon arrival we specifically mentioned we were there to explore and get drinks only and welcomed my wife and I without any issues. Beach needs more cleaning as there is seaweed and garbage towards the ends of the private property / beach. We ordered drinks and after about an hour the waiter mentioned we had to order food as there was a 300.00 MXN min. per person; which we were never informed of. We mentioned no thanks and decided to leave, furthermore, after paying for drinks the waiter mentioned we would have to pay for parking which was also 300 MXN and we also never told of this.

Recommended by IBike Tulum. Spent about five hours here on our last day in Tulum. So out of the way, we had the place to ourselves most of the time. Quaint restaurant/bar and all the beach you could ask for. Good guacamole and fish tacos and better margaritas than any in Tulum. Miguel was so helpful and pleasant. Note you’ll have to pay to enter Sain Kaan; it was 75 pesos for two of us. The road is also very rough but we’ll worth it. We were on a scooter.
