Your first impression by looking through the windows or walking through the door gives you a complete feeling of peacefulness and creativity. Both Rocio and Brian have created an intimate Oaxacan environment through their paintings as well as pen and ink drawings of their experiences throughout Oaxaca and their travels in the US and Europe. One feels their love for these places in this small but well organized studio. I would encourage you to visit and see for yourself the collection of their works. I suspect you will want to walk away with one of them.

I absolutely love this adorable gallery. It’s very intimate and combines two artists who complement each other: Rocio and Brian. As soon as I entered the gallery, I fell in love with one of Rocio’s works and wasn’t able to take my mind off it the whole time I was exploring the rest of the art. Now I am a proud owner of one of her birds. Rich textures and magical colors. Beautiful piece of original art. It’s great to see how art is created right there in the gallery. Customer service was impeccable. My art piece was wrapped and packaged with such care, I brought it back home with no problems at all. Thank you! Hope to visit Oaxaca again and this gallery is on my must visit list.

This wonderful gallery bridges worlds and creative mediums with artwork that speaks to the heart of the culture here. You may find Rocio (La Chilanga-From Mexico City) and Brian (effing Gringo from Seattle) painting from their latest adventures, hosting classes, and sharing an insiders perspective on this enchanted city. Watercolors, oils, pen and ink, and mixed media pieces all coexist harmoniously in this wonderful location.
