Cenote Tankach-Ha

A most unique cenote!!! Of the three in the area, this one is the must-do!!! Descend the set of wooden stairs into the deep dark cave. Dive from the platforms. There is no place to keep you gear dry so plan accordingly.

My favorite cenote! The stalagtites are still dripping into the huge pool, which made the experience even cooler. The steep stairs have 2 diving platforms off of them because the cave and water is so deep. This cave isn't too deep into the ground, so bats did live in the cave, but don't bother you at all. They just flutter around the top a little bit, which really added to the experience as well. The facilities outside are very nice as well.

Amazing and very special cenote that wasn’t crowded at least when we went! Deep water, platforms to jump in, just beautiful and special in a cave!!

Cliff jumping inside a cave! So much fun. They have 2 different jumps. One is 10 feet the other 30 feet. Cave is enormous and a trip to swim around in.

This was a great experience. Two flights of pretty steep stairs but worth it. A huge cavern of fresh water that's cold but well worth the trip two levels of jumping platforms were a nice edition to the cenote.
