Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cancun Airport

So I stayed here for 15 nights so I got a really good impression , it’s a clean hotel and the staff was overall really nice too. It’s definitely not a hotel for long stays for two reasons. The first one is that there is not much to do here but I mean it’s airport hotel so don’t expect too much and the second one was the food. It’s ok for 2/3 days but then you run out of decent options. !!!!Don’t eat the pizza!!!! And during the breakfast you had to ask consistently until you got all ordered foods. But other than that it’s really clean and covid safe, there are two shops next door, two beauty Salons and a supermarket with a few items. The hotel looks really nice and the rooms have been nice too, just be careful with floating your toilet.

My family enjoyed our stay here. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport was the main reason we chose to stay here. Although we had a bit of a wait at the airport I appreciated the service and found the shuttle to be clean and comfortable. My young kids slept on the hide-a-bed without complaint, and I was happy with the mattress on the bed. We ate at the restaurant in the lobby for dinner and breakfast, and although service was a bit slow it was good. Our family found this hotel to be a comfortable and convenient stop before going to our vacation resort, and we plan to come back.

We have stayed at several other Marriotts and usually love them but they change the price when we arrived saying we needed to pay for two more of our adults. When I went through the booking process weeks before I had already entered in how many adults we would have. I talked to the manager and she was not flexible at all. Very stubborn. This is the first bad review I've ever done in my life. I'm really easy going and I feel kind of bad but I was pretty disappointed that they wouldn't work with me at all. If I enter in that I need two rooms and have six adults and two kids then give me two rooms that fit 6 adults and 2 kids and tell me from the beginning what the price will be. Don't surprise me at the end and say I have to pay an additional $20 per adult. I could have easily gone somewhere else.
