Bus Station ADO

We used Ado all throughout Yucatán and were nothing but happy. I booked everything through the app and had no issues. There are USB ports above your head, a movie playing in Spanish, and WiFi.

Keeping distance from people is very difficult in this small station.sold a 2nd class bus ticket without knowing the time triples with stops everywhere and really crowded buses. People were in the aisles sitting and laying out on the floor. No way would I have chosen this kind of travel.

Mediocre service for the price they charge for a ticket. Unfriendly staff at the counter. Nobody to give instructions as to where the bus leaves. No COVID measures at all. Not before boarding the bus, no temperature check, no alcohol, let people board without masks (and this with a completely booked bus) and then show you propaganda videos of the company respecting sanitizing measures. Plus people asking you for money when you want to put your suitcase in the luggage compartment below.

Quite unusual for a business trip, but way better than the lousy service which Hertz offered us!

!!!! Buy the tickets only at one of the ADO desks inside (after picking up the baggage) or outside at Gate 69!!!!!!! There are people who try to trick you. They say the next bus is coming in 2 hours and there is a minivan option (beware: for the double price) from ADO (showing you an ADO Flyer) running every 15 Minutes. Don't believe them and keep walking to the official ado desk! ADO itself was very comfortable and save. We can recommend it.
