Really cool spots and a great staff.
Amazing place, and definately worth a visit. It was one of three stops on our Air Canada Vacations booked day extrusion (along with a visit to Tulum ruins, and snorkeling). The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The food they serve for lunch is authentic Mexican food and really good, albeit lacks a little variety. The hibiscus flower juice is worth a try. While they offer ziplining and can even easier you into deep cenote, the Xaman Ha heart-shaped open cenote is the piece de resistance, with a bunch of closed cenote caves that are full of old and new stalactites and stalagmites and other interesting things to explore. They have bats and it gets dark in there, but you go into one and come out the other. Bring your head lamp. I would've given it 5 stars if they took visitor safety a bit more seriously. The ramp down to cenote Xaman Ha had missing sections and exposed rusted nails that needed attention. Plus the ramp by the water was slippery and should be brushed. They also didn't bother to give us head protection before entering the caves even if they had plenty of helmets in a glass hut near the mess hall. Also they didn't give us any headlamps and portions of the caves are pitch black, and my significant other didn't appreciate it when our guide (who had the only lights) jokingly turned them off at times, or kept pointing his lights at bats and spiders which she's not too fond of, to put it lightly. I personally like that kind of adventurous stuff, but the guides should be more weary that certain paying customers don't like that kind scare. Otherwise a fun stop.
Wonderful hiding gem to cool off! Staff was wonderful and the water was amazing. The guide that took us was a beautiful human. Make time to visit!
Lots to do here our guide was very informative. The cenote exploration was amazing.
We did all 4 Cenotes and experienced a lot that we never would have. Rocco and his crew were fabulous. Very helpful and extremely informative. This will take you out of your comfort zone a little. Nothing outrageous but certainly out of your comfort zone. Well worth it. I was extremely apprehensive on the way there. But it turned out to be the best experience of the trip.
