Great customer service and great hostel vibes just keep in mind now in COVID times the restaurant and bar is closed

The place stinks, unstable management, no wifi in rooms, dirty and beat up...

Cozy beautifull Hostel in the heart of playa

Went to this hostel to pick up a Item another guest left there. Like I was looking for a place to stay that same night I asked for a bed and a safe place for my scooter, but actually they don´t provide parking for motorbikes. While sill talking to other guests of this hostel, the girl from reception proposed to make an exception and park the bike inside once reception closed, which was a fantastic solution for me. I booked the room and left for food and some drinks. Once I get back to the hostel the bike was already parked inside. I went to boil some water while listening to the manager and the two guys from reception (one of them the girl who allowed to park the bike inside) scold with them and complaining about my bike. I entered in the "conversation" and got angry about managers point of view. He was disappointed about the bike because no one asks for permit to do so! He was not reasonable and finally it was so disgusting I left that place. The two guys from reception (volunteers) were fired instantly!! There were only few guests in the hostel (it was in the middle of the plandemic) and in my opinion the girl decided correctly. It was a exception, that is clear, and when you work in a place like this you first fulfil customers requirements before asking some uncomprehending manager if you can do so or not. You should have enough power to deicide about situations, and in this case no one was hurt or bothered. In first place would avoid to work there as you have to support this kind of people, and second, the way customers are treated by management.....just look for another hostel....there are plenty!!

Nice hostel. Good rooftop patio. Dorm rooms can be ungodly hot though. Very cheap bicycle rental only 50 pesos. Owner / manager is very helpful and friendly
