Hotel Krystal Monterrey

Very good view of the Macroplaza, Cerro de la Silla and Cathedral. Very spacious room for a very good price. Close to everything, has a Starbucks inside (closed due to the pandemic) but also has one half a block away. Great showers, warm water, big beds, clean linens, cable TV, room service. What is super cool about this place, is that wherever you walk around downtown, you just look up and can spot the logo, so you can find your way back. I would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to Paseo Santa Lucía and further downtown.

It was a great stay! The hotel is in a great location near shopping and restaurants. If you like walking and exploring there's lots to see nearby. If you prefer sitting in a pretty shaded plaza watching the pigeons and people as the walk by you can do that too. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. Enjoy your stay.

If you want to get tricked by the bartender, as well as experience issues every single day this is the hotel for you! As we asked in the reception, the safety box was supposed to work, but did not work we got in our room. We then asked to switch the room, and was offered a room on the second floor with no view, which had been paid for. We then went to the reception to change this, in which we were offered a room on the third floor, which also does not have the great view we paid for. We then discovered that the door to the restroom was not working, and asked to get this fixed. After this, we figured out, that the room did not have a refrigerator, that we expected. (This came 5 days later, but is not in the compartment, just standing on the floor) Their horrible bartender seemed to be very nice and kind and offered us a free drink in the bar. We then went down to the bar and got a drink. We then thought, it was very nice, and wanted to give him tips, whereas his answer was "this won't even cover the cost of the drinks". This is very unprofessional and has made the whole stay at this hotel very unpleasant, and very uncomfortable. We then wrote a complaint to the hotel, but here 3 weeks later we have received nothing.Very unprofessional.
