It is a monumental Catholic Church with two parishes and an shrine for the Blessed Sacrament. The parishes are dedicated to the apostle San Mateo and the Virgin of Guadalupe, built by the Franciscans in New Spain in the 16th century. It has very beautiful sacred art and its Altar although austere is of great beauty.

Very nice place and quiet. In September the walnut fair takes place in this place so it would be a good option to visit it. Some photos are not the correct ones of the place but if gift of other churches in the municipality.

Nice place, it is a must if you are around the town; You can admire its architecture and spend time there. If you are a believer you can listen to mass.
