We ate here yesterday Jan. 16 th 2021 and had an wonderful meal for dinner. Whoever the chef was did an excellent job. They have changed up their menu. We started with the mixed salad which was flavorful with the peanuts, goat cheese and beets. The fresh mahi-mahi done in pibil sauce was beautifully cooked. My husband had the flank steak molcajete and the meat was cooked just right with all the flavours making the dish unique. Then we had bananas flambé made at our table with goat cheese ice cream for dessert. It was delicious! The servers at this restaurant are always attentive. It is a more expensive dining experience but worth every penny.

The food is decent but slightly more expensive than some of the family run places in town. If you are staying at Embarc it's not a bad place to grab a quick meal before hitting the beach but if you have time it's worth the walk into town instead to get a much better breakfast for less.

Excellent staff and service. We ate here several times and they always were exceptional. The food was always great, clean and well prepared/presented. Not sure why, but one night the offerings were much more expensive than the other visits. Other than that, it's good to find reliable places to get good meals when traveling abroad.

My goodness. What an experience this trip was. Yes, food makes a big difference when it comes to vacationing. This restaurant is located in the resort. Some of the food is specialty foods and others are typical seafood and American good. My family loves Mexican food but it wasn’t really on the menu. We asked our wait-staffer, Angel, and he mentioned that the chef would make a dish, authentic Mexican dish. That was 4 days ago! Every meal thereafter was authentic and personal! The chef name is Erica and her staff is incredible. I am happy, pleased and full. Oh an yeah, the homemade ice cream is crazy crazy delicious. I loved the Strawberry. I will be back! MH
