The first thing that got my attention about La Kalle was the smell of fresh brewed coffee as I walked by. So I took a look at the menu out front and saw that they had once off my favorite breakfast entrees, huevos divorciados! That's like huevos rancheros except one side is red sauce and the other side green. So I sat down and ordered cafe americano, orange juice, and huevos divorciados. The music was a mixture of American and Mexican jazz. Very relaxing and fit the vibe of La Kalle. My waiter was excellent. A young man who was polite, attentive, and spoke excellent English. The flavor of the food was excellent and they took pride in the presentation. Toward the end of my meal the cook asked where I was from. I told him I was from Oregon. We talked for awhile and he introduced me to all his staff.i asked the waiter where bre learned his English. The owner's wife said she had taught him because it is very important in Zihuatanejo to learn english. The food is fantastic. The staff makes you feel at home. And, I'll definitely be going back!

Victor & Brenda's La Kalle Restaurant Café was a friendly and delightful experience. For breakfast I had Huevones de la Kalle (scrambled eggs topped with bean sauce, sausage, panela cheese and avocado). Excellent blending of flavors, generous portion and served with a smile. The owners make everything from scratch. It takes a bit longer but is worth the wait!!! Went back the next day for dinner and had the Mahi Mahi Steak with tangerine sauce. Delicious! Can't wait to try more selections. Just two blocks up from the basketball courts.

We always pass by this restaurant because there are so many great restaurants on Adelita street. My friend and I decided to try it last night, both of us were disappointed. Drinks were expensive and small, but the margaritas were very good. I had the coconut shrimp, it was delicious but very small, my friend had the seafood stuffed ancho pepper-she couldn’t find much seafood in it, just lots of onions and it was cold.... We were overcharged by 60 pesos, which isn’t much, didn’t say anything because we were with other people. Chances are we wouldn’t return
