This small office is staffed by two women, one of whom is assistant to the other, and each of whom is that wonderful blend that Mexicans working in bureaucracies that deal with many foreigners -- especially from the USA -- can be at their best. Patient and helpful if the person needing their assistance is both, as well. Firm in their procrastination and policy-following-to-the-letter-of-the-law when that person behaves like an entitled jerk. Which, sad to say, is mostly who they get to handle this close to the border. They should be nominated for sainthood (but all I could do was give them a plant).
