Iglesia Católica De Tekax

A magnificent example of the classical XVI century architecture, the church was built in 1609 and it's one of the biggest in Yucatan. A silent witness to the evangelization, the church is part of one of the earliest Franciscan convents in the area.

One of the largest churches in the state, it has four aisles, with endless history, it is currently being remodeled by the current parish priest, it has masses every day from 7 in the morning and 7 at night, it has a good service office, very friendly secretaries. I recommend you visit the chapel of the very beautiful holy place to spend some time meditating. The Tekax church also has small chapels, the best known are San Lorenzo, San Ignacio and San Francisco. I recommend you go to visit them in the same way.
