Dolphinaris Tulum at Bahia Principe Hotel

This has nothing to do with a species-appropriate attitude and all the people who go there and look at something like that or spend money on it, only encourage such an attitude. Really terrible such a thing.

We booked the Ocean Secrets Experience. It's pretty cool this is right on the resort. We showed up a few minutes late to our time but were actually a lot later b/c you are supposed to arrive at least 30 mins early. Technically, they could have taken our money a called it a day but they were very cool about it, just told us to come back to the next show. The encounter is hard to describe but amazing. Very unique experience, you get up close and personal with dolphins - pet them, give commands, get a kiss, ride them (w/ this package), etc. The trainers are very good with and concerned about the dolphins - I'm sure they are taken care better than like a family pet. Anyone on the resort can watch the encounters so free entertainment if you don't want to swim w/ them. The encounters are pretty inexpensive, photos not so much, but when you think about photography is expensive everywhere. The encounter and photos are a little over 100 combined and well worth the experience. Overall, great and unique experience at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Great dolphin education program, for all the haters, maybe spend some money to learn what it is all about. 20’ deep pool, my wife and i were with Trainer Willy and Dolphin Azul. Good to know that the care they receive from the marine biologist, veterinarian that are part of the program, extend the life of these beautiful creatures from 20 years in the wild to as high as 40 years with the loving care they get. This was a once in a lifetime experience so we bought the expensive picture package( too expensive for the pictures ,but its only money)

The trainers were very passionate about teaching people about the dolphins and how we humans need to lessen our impact on the environment. I had a wonderful experience interacting with the dolphins.

If i could i would give it 0 stars. In two tiny pools 6 dolphins. Well you do the math. I felt horrible always when i was passing by to go to the beach.
