My friend wrote a review and I was not going to bother but after the owner’s response, I feel compelled to. I understand that coffee is different all over the world, and so when I asked for a double shot latte and was told that the latte was made with filter coffee I just responded “well can I have a latte with espresso instead?” The owner then responded that what I wanted was a cappuccino. Because cappuccinos often times have dry foam I never get them—so I asked if the milk would be very foamy. I swear, I was not bitchy—I was legit trying to understand what I would be ordering because I know I am picky with my coffee. She explained how it was made there and I ended up getting a cappuccino with less milk in it. The coffee was not horrible. I definitely finished it. What was uncalled for was the attitude of the owner. After reading through other reviews I realize that my friend and I are not the only ones who feel she is rude. If you own a business, it should not be wrong for a customer to ask questions about the products being offered. We are spending our money and should know what we will be getting when we place an order. I am unsure why asking questions was seen as being rude (as the owner responded) because I NEVER told her how to make a coffee—I simply asked for clarification on what was being offered. Ultimately, no matter how good a product is, I will not spend money in an establishment where I feel unwelcome. As there are other reviews stating that the owner is rude, perhaps she should see where she can improve her customer service skills to avoid such reviews.

Mixed experience here. The shop smells great and the baked goods look amazing. Had a chocolate muffin type cake that was Great, but the loaf of bread we bought was so hard on the outside that it was a challenge to cut with a knife. We bought in mid-day, so perhaps try going in the morning when everything is super fresh.

Smells AMAZING inside the shop. Got a serious slab of chocolate cake. Which was good, but the lower half was a bit dry. Go early, many items seem to sell out.

October 2020– I got a slice of carrot cake. A little pricey but delicious. I wish I could have afforded to try more goods there. A cute boutique style bakery. Confined but nice. Outside seating available as well. I will visit again.

Possibly the best blueberry muffins I've ever had. Nutty, grainy, moist and delicious. Never tried the breads. Nice selection of artisan baked goods in a good location, maybe a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it for an occasional treat.
